Hello all……….. So another week and what a week it has been from New Kids that aren’t that new to a mini- sensation that is Lady Gaga. This week is bringing in a whole lotta good with the usual stinkers.
Before I start I would just like to have a bit of a rant on what I know is already old news but I just got so pissed off when I saw Christina Aguilera lip-syncing her ass off @ the MTV Music “Awards”. This really makes no sense when people like her DEMAND that they are artists and that they are REAL singers and shove it in everybody’s faces and then they don’t sing? And lets be honest the songs she sang were NOT that difficult to sing for her. What a let down.

Ever wondered what P!nk would sound like if she were drunk off her ass and decided to write a song at a Pub? Well then this should answer all your questions. This has got to be one of THE most annoying songs of the year. Every time I hear this song I feel like I should be pumping my fists up in anger, but not cos of the song but cos of the way it gets cemented into your brain after 1 listen and it just won’t get the fuck out! I really liked P!nk when she had her first album. She was cool and she basically sang the same things she is now only with less of an R&B feel to it.
The thing that annoys me about P!nk is that she tries to be so bad ass that she lets it take center stage in her music as an angry, drunken resentful, brat. Yes we know that the song is about her husband that she divorced (who makes a cameo in the video) and how she doesn’t give a fuck about what others think about her… umm… but aren’t ALL her songs about not giving a fuck about what anyone thinks of her? Nothing new here folks so just move it along.

One question: If you were famous in the 80′s and were the new kids on the block can you still call yourself new 20 years after? I think not.
This is basically my only problem with the return of the new kids. The previous single “Summertime” was released here in the U.K at the end of summer which made no sense and add to the fact that the song wasn’t very good you get a : FLOP. This song is A LOT better than their previous effort and it does have some interesting music production thanks to the co-production of Ne-Yo.
The video is just o.k. They all still look pretty hot. Especially Danny who was the bodybuilder one, he just got better with age, they should just have him shirtless in the background. And Am I the ONLY one who thought Jordan was G-A-Y? I thought he had come out already.. (maybe that was just in my head) So if you like your R&B with more than a pinch of old man stench… then this is totally for you.

What happens when the cover of your single is better than the actual song itself? Well trouble, that what happens. Fresh off the heels of their major win @ The MTV “Awards” for Best pole dancing video, they have the nerve to release this? Missy Elliott joins the “girls” for this one and she doesn’t help matters much. The problem with the song is that it’s not catchy AND it doesn’t have a video yet and if you’re gonna put out a crap song at least have an expensive trashy looking video to go with it. Major disappointment from one of the founding groups of SLUT POP. If you don’t agree have a listen.

Despite the fact that this single will be released sometime next year in the U.K (which is retarded) I think that I still should mention a mini-sensation that is known as Lady Gaga. YES, Christina Aguilera DID copy her, and YES she is worthy of imitation, it’s just sad to see Christina has no tricks of her own left.
Well on to the song, this has a very classy hooker feel to it. Lady Gaga herself is skankalicious. She is full of these cool trends that street walkers (and myself) will be rushing to copy. The video is in my opinion is a masterpiece, especially when Lady Gaga humps Shamu the whale. CLASSIC. Watch this girl cos she’s gonna be HUGE.
