O.k so this a new section where every week I will be picking the weeks most annoying people or just an annoying thing that just pisses me off….
Well this week we have Singers who lip sync. Now, why is this annoying, well there are 2 kinds of singers.
The first kind have never admitted to singing very well but are generally good entertainers like for example Madonna and Britney, they have made a career (for better or for worse) out of making music without having good voices but they do have good music to back them up or a VERY good production team behind them.
Then there are singers that say they are REAL singers and say that they never lip sync and they criticize other singers for not singers.. and case in point here Christina Aguilera, I think She has an AMAZING voice and pretty much one of the best pop voices out there, what I don’t like about her is the fact that she has dissed other singers before for lip syncing and Christina acts as though she is above it…
Well then came the VMA’s 2008 and she lip synced her way through her performance, and this was just so frustrating due to the fact that the songs she sang we NOT difficult for her to sing and she didn’t do all that much dancing wise. Then I started to think well I’m sure that Christina has lip synced before… and yes she has… now i don’t care really so much about the actual lip syncing, but her is my question why would you record a vocal that you know that most likely you can’t do live, case in point the final not on “Candyman”. I came across a video on youtube where you can Hear AND see for urself and tell me what you think…annoying or not?
