Why is it that all good shows are on channels that I don’t get? Instead I have to put up with crap T.V that only shows “celebrities” doing something embarrassing only to get their names on magazines. That’s why I just stopped watching T.V altogether and I ONLY watch shows that are worthy of my precious time that I mostly dedicate to wanking.

So far in the past couple of years I have been lucky and there have been some good shows on that I have written about on here like “The Comeback”, and most recently “Summer Heights High”. Now I have a new obsession: “Tracey Ullmans State Of The Union”. This woman has had so many funny shows and characters and my personal favorite Sylvia Stickles (on the J.Waters film “A Dirty Shame”) is one of my all time heroes. I mean, she has said some of the most insightful phrases ever such as:

“I’m Sylvia, and my clitoris is in crisis.”

“Somebody, somewhere, finish me off”

” Something is the matter with your vagina!”

And finally ” Does Fat Fuck Frank like to ‘whistle in the dark’ ?”

After all this I thought what could Tracey Ullman possibly do to top that? And she has done it again, in fact 5 times so far. “State Of The Union” is shown on Showtime and has finished it’s first season and has been picked up for another one in the U.S. The DVD is out and needless to say I WANT IT! She has come up with many new characters (like the one shown above, Padma Perkish the chemist who breaks into a Bollywood dance everytime a customer asks for some sort of prescription) and she also impersonates celebrities such as Posh & Becks, Cameron Diaz and many more.. and her impersonations are ON POINT! This show is a MUST SEE. I’ll leave you with a small segment of Tracey impersonating Judi Dench as she promotes her new movie that deals with  Alzheimer’s the movie entitled: “Who the Fuck Was I”…… Classic!
