Girls Aloud
Ahhh! I have been obsessively listening to Girls Aloud, especially “Out Of Control”. If you don’t live in England and don’t know who they are then you NEED to download their Greatest Hits CD which features ALL their must haves and then some.
These girls were selected in 2002 on the talent show PopStars: The Rivals and the have been one of the most successful British girl groups in recent history. 20 consecutive Top 10 singles and 4 No.1′s and they are really sexy and slutty looking (which is always important in my book.)
They had an epic single which was “Biology” which to me is one of their best singles and video as well. The only thing that does tarnish them in my book was the awful duet that did with Sugababes a remake of “Walk this Way” and while the video was o.k the song was CRAP.
Their new CD “Out Of Control” is quite A-mazing and the singles “The Promise” is a classy retro stomper that in the beginning I didn’t like too much but it kinda grew on me and “The Loving Kind” is a sassy dance ballad that was co-written by the Pet Shop Boys.
An honorable mention will go to the video “Long Hot Summer” which is a great choon with a sexed up and sluttified video.
