ENJOY POP!
So, we all LOVE Pop and there is plenty of music out there that doesn’t quite get out to the masses which is, let’s just say it: shit. People are too worried about American Idols and X-factor winners and all that other crap to listen to anything else. There have been some a-mazing pop songs that have not been released as singles or the artists aren’t famous enough to have them be massive hits.
Here I have selected 5 such songs that U MUST listen to if you are a fan of Pop. I truly recommend you download them and enjoy with a nice vodka & mixer before hitting the clubs.
1.) Keke Palmer – “Bottoms Up”- I really don’t know why this song wasn’t released as a single. It is just about the best ting I have heard a teen do in a LONG time. Keke Palmer was on some kiddy shit show and she may or may not still be on there but she recorded an album and while the album flopped this song has managed to survive, yet it was never released. 2.) The Saturdays – “Work” – Why these girls decided to release a shit comic relief single instead of this bangin’ track is totally beyond me. If there were ever a walk down a catwalk song, then this is it. It’s not too drag queeny, but almost. If this is not the 4th single off of their debut album something is seriously wrong with the UNIVERSE! Listen to “Work” here.
3.) Hadise – “My Body” – This girl is a major star in Belgium and Turkey and that is about it, but I don’t understand why she isn’t massive star. Her song “My Body” is a major slut fest that can only be enjoyed if there is a pole in the room. This song just oozes sex & Me LOVES. Watch & Listen to “My Body” here.
4.) BoA – “Eat U Up” – This Korean Pop Superstar is trying to crack the US market and has released an Club Banger. The song was released in November and really didn’t go anywhere. I think her mistake was not launching this in Europe first, where people are a bit more open to pop. The Video looks expensive and this gurl can DANCE! Watch and listen to “Eat U Up” here.
5.) Princess Superstar – “Licky” – This was a single but wasn’t that big of a hit and I just don’t know why. This song always gets me up and dancing no matter where the hell I am. With lyrics such as “licky like an inner thigh, licky like a sexy guy” I’m shocked this wasn’t a world wide smash. The video is soooo good I have posted it here. Enjoy!!!!!
