I guess there are some things that not everyone knows. Take for example the use of condoms. While not an absolute solution they significantly reduce your exposure to various STD’s. Most importantly HIV. This is something I thought EVERYBODY knew, that is EVERYBODY but The Pope.
On his trip to Africa The Pope was spreading the word and it really makes you think: what the hell is this man thinking? He has said that distributing free condoms in Africa DOES NOT help reduce the spreading of HIV but in fact increases the problem. He said that a responsible and moral attitude toward sex would help fight the disease. He said he was pretty much opposed to condoms in every way.
Now I’m not sure in what world this man is living in. I really feel that it is quite sad that so many people follow The Pope. How could so many people be so fucking ignorant? I mean, using condoms has nothing to do with religion it has to do with facts. While we all know that the use of condoms will not stop the spreading of HIV ,but they are one of the very few HIV prevention mechanisms proven to work. This is a fact and not even the fucking Pope can deny that.
There really is no going against this idiot and his idiotic church cos there are just too many of them. But what I do hope is that, some people will realize that the church in general has lost all touch with reality and this is something that needs to be looked at and questioned not only for us, but for the millions of people infected with HIV and dying from AIDS all around the world.
