We Did It!
This week, the Obama administration said that it will endorse the UN declaration, that calls for the worldwide decriminalization of homosexuality. All I can say is: that it’s about fucking time! When I lived in the U.S, Clinton was in office and things were slowly moving forward for Gays across America but after the Bush years, the Gay rights movement went backwards about 50 years.
This is the first step in getting it right for Gays in the U.S. Signing this declaration is something that Bush would always refuse to do making the U.S the only western country not to do so. Now, that the Obama Admin. is backing this I hope that they will now tackle the marriage situation, cos let’s face it, that is one HUGE MESS!
