This was a close race! I was a bit surprised. I know that most of you all want to think that Gays can be faithful, but me personally I ain’t so sure. This is a difficult one.
29% of you said that Gay men are capable of being 100% faithful in a relationship. Which is more than what I thought, it was going to be.
This is where it gets interesting. 25% of you think that every long term Gay relationship ends up in an open relationship, and then another 25% of you think that a Gay relationship can work if you both work at it. It’s a TIE! Hmmm…… what the fuck are you all saying?
I can see where you would think that a Gay relationship can end in an open one. But can open relationships really work? I have yet to meet anyone that says that they truly believe that it does work, maybe they are out there.
If you both work at a relationship, it could actually last. I mean if you both are willing and open to talk and express what you feel is wrong or right with the relationship then how could things not work? If things aren’t working then it would be good to know that you could tell your partner in an open and adult way and then your partner could take that in. If you are both willing to invest the time and energy I know that you will come to a positive conclusion.
Finally 22% of you think that Gay men CAN NOT be faithful and they are naturally promiscuous. I thought this would be a lot higher cos I have met LOADS of Gay men that think that we are all a bunch of SLUTS. But I think this goes back, WAY back. Most people in general think that all we Gays think about is fucking a lot of men. We think about fucking a lot but I think that it can be with just one guy instead of thousands.
