You thought that Lady Gaga was the only one making smart, sexy, minx-pop? Well you were wrong! Antigone released her first single “More Man Than Man” last summer and scored herself a U.K top 10 dance hit. This song was one of my faves of last year. The video proved she was LOCA, LOCA but that made me LOVE HER, LOVE HER! She looked like a cross between Lady Miss Kier and Roisin Murphy. (2 of my favorite women in the world)
So now the feisty red head has released her debut, “Antigone-Land” and I LOVE IT! There is not one single song on the album that disappoints. Standouts include “Funky Dancers” (which shows just how funky a white girl can really get) and “Uberwoman”. This entire album is great for a pre-night out before you go and have those cocktails with the boyssss. You will be hearing a lot more form this chick cos she knows what time it is: DANCE UR ASS OFF TIME!
