This week is a really good week for some a-mazing music. Finally! I’m glad that for the first time in a long time I had various contenders for my Single Of The Week, and that NEVER happens! So let’s get it started!

Looking like a hooker in heat on her single cover here comes Kelly Clarkson with her 2nd single “I Do Not Hook Up”. After “My Life Would Suck” this song is kind of a let down. Sure the huge chorus is there, the feistiness is also there but it just seems like we have heard this before.
I fear that Kelly Clarkson is starting to sound a bit repetitive. Almost all her big singles have the same sound. That pop-rock feel that always lets us know that the song will be played EVERYWHERE until we want to shot our foot. I like this song and I think it’s a good pop song, but if Kelly keeps on churning out songs like this, most people will start to lose interest. Then before you know it Kelly will come back with a hip-pop song featuring some annoying rapper and that is so NOT what we want from her. Just a bit more variety…is that too much to ask for?
The video isn’t anywhere on the web EXCEPT here, it’s a pretty good video with Kelly acting all cool, mysterious.

There is something sexy and dark about this song. This is Adrian Lux’s “Can’t Sleep”. I so want him to release a full album cos the song is just such a choon!
As I posted a couple of days ago this video is just so gay-licious that just fits the song to a T. Two average guys just making out at the end of the video, you would never expect it, that’s what makes it so hot!
This is his 2nd release after his song “Strawberry” (which is another a-mazing track) and it has the same kind of dance extravaganza we would expect from a dj, but the difference here is that there is something more to this. Maybe it’s the way it’s sung or the production, it reminds me a bit of The Knife, except a lot more club friendly.

Electro-glam diva, Antigone is back with her 2nd single “Promiscuity” from her album “Antigone-Land” and to say this song is one of the best songs of the year would be a huge understatement. It’s just such a brilliant track.
A sophisticated and sassy song is just what we need right now for the summer and I think that Antigone has really outdone herself with the selection of this single. I don’t know if there will be a vidoe for the song cos Antigone doesn’t have the support of a major label. You know that if you don’t have a huge label then you can pretty much kiss any promo goodbye. This is just not right cos if the world were a perefect place Antigone would be HUGE!

Single Of The Week:
Better Off As Two.
Sometimes it helps if you are good looking to sell your music and sometimes you don’t have to be good looking but your music HAS TO BE brilliant! In the case of Frankmusik, this little hottie has got the best of both worlds. A-mazing songs and his hot little self.
I LOVED his song “3 Little Words” and now he is back with his 2nd single “Better Off As Two” from his debut ablum.( To be released this summer) This song is a bit more mellow than his previous single but that doesn’t mean that it’s not as good. There is something very catchy about his music that really gets me. The production is tight and there is a hint of 80′s mixed in with the general electro sound.
The video is just out of course you can see it here it’s very twisty and bendy. I know that doesn’t make any sense but you’ll catch my drift once you see the video! Enjoy!
