It’s almost impossible to be confident 100% of the time, right? WRONG! Being confident is all about knowing your strengths (and playing them up) knowing your weaknesses and being able to laugh at them. If you think you’re not quite there yet all you gotta do is fake it, till you make it right? Well, sometimes but as always it’s easier said than done. So here go 5 quick tips to give you a confidence boost whatever the situation.

1. Make a mental note of when you handled a situation well and remember that for future reference. This will give you a quick confidence fix.

2. Remember that confidence is something you learn and you are not born with it, so don’t be so hard on yourself when you feel you have handled a situation poorly. Don’t take yourself so seriously! Brush it off as best as you can and move on.

3. Do not take rejection personally. You have the right to say no or turn someone down and others have the same right to do that with you, so if someone says: NO, there will always be someone else out there who will say: YES!

4. Use set-backs/rejections as something to learn from. This is a good way to learn how to treat people with respect, cos you can’t be confident until you have respect for others.

5. Finally always remember how far you have come in building up that confidence. EVERYTIME!
