CELEBRATE!

CELEBRATE!

As we Gays know Summer means PRIDE but to think that London is the ONLY city in the U.K that has their PRIDE day or week would just be silly. Today I’ll give you the down-low on 2 events, the first in Scotland and the other in Wales.

PRIDE Scotia (Saturday, June 27th) is Scotland’s national LGBT PRIDE festival. This festival is run solely by volunteers and of course is a great opportunity to celebrate diversity and personal identity. The whole party gets started with a march that begins at noon outside the city chambers and passes the Royal Mile and the Scottish parliament. Of course no PRIDE event would be complete without lots of music, glitter and go-go boys! For more information go to their official site.

PRIDE Swansea (Saturday, Jne 27th) is taking place in the Lacrosse Field in Singleton Park from 1pm -9pm. There are tons of starz ready to get the festivities underway, acts such as The Powder Puff Girlz, Dona Marie and Kelly Lorenna are all going to be on hand making sure that the Gays have a good time. Along the main stage there will be a huge dance floor, catering services and commercial and information areas. For loads more information go to their official site.

So there you go, if you are in Scotland or Wales this weekend get out there and just celebrate the fact that you are different and you’re lovin’ it!
