End Of The Celebration?
As you know the “Queen Of Pop” has a new single out in September and it has already leaked . “Celebration” is the lead single off of Madge’s Greatest Hits album. I don’t know what to make of it really. Part of me kinda likes it cos it’s very sounds very “Confessions” but another part of me really hates it due to the fact that it sounds like a step backwards. I would always listen to a Madonna song and kinda get an idea of where pop music was heading but now it just seems as though she is not really “bringing it.”
The other thing that is cringe-worthy are the spoken parts of the song. I’m just wondering what her kids must think when they hear lines like “I didn’t recognize you, with your clothes on” HMMM….. not sure that’s the best way to go, but then again I really could care less cos I fucking hate kids. Poor Lourdes, she is set to appear in the video and I so do not know what to expect. I really think that Madonna is a great artist but this song is just very by the numbers and is not very exciting. It doesn’t get me interested in what’s to come for our dear old slappa.
