WORK That Hair!
Cassie had a MASSIVE hit with “Me & U” and now she has been dicked around with the release of her 2nd album “Electro-Love.” I mean when the fuck is it actually gonna happen? The first single, “Official Girl” was released over a year ago and then another, “Must be Love’ was released in April and both songs were HUGE flops.
Now, her peeps have said that the album will be released sometime in the late Fall and there has been a 3RD (!) single released from this album. “Let’s Get Crazy” is the new single and it does sound better than the previous 2 efforts but I don’t think that this will get her back to the top of the charts. The thing about her success with “Me & U” was the fact that it sounded like nothing on the radio and even having a very limited voice, Cassie still managed to rock the song.
Now, she has enlisted RED ONE to produce the LGC and it just sounds like everything else out there. This is not the way to go. I like the song a lot but sadly this will not get Cassie the hit she so badly needs. This better have an a-mazing video cos maybe that could change things for her.
