Whomever did that to my front door has some serious explaining to do!!!
We probably use the word “slut”to describe someone more often that we would like to recognize or even remember. I think it’s cool to have an opinion about things and people but what I can’t stand is when people use this against you.
Today I was at the gym and I swear you can always hear the most interesting or hilariously stupid stories ever. File this under the 2nd. I was on the crosstrainer and there were these 2 bitter looking queens looking at this well-groomed fag and they were talking about how much of a slut he was. As I listened I thought these two queens were just jealous cos they were kinda out of shape and the guy they were talking about was quite fit. But no, that wasn’t the reason they thought he was a slut, the reason they thought he was slutty was because one of these bitter queens had seen him dancing like a “low-rent stripper” at Fire the weekend before. They were going on about how he was wearing next to nothing and just rubbing up against anything that could take his heavy ass frotage.
I just laughed to myself and thought are these 2 serious? Now you’re a slut cos you dance like a stripper? What is wrong with this world? I mean since when does pole-strippa dancing qualify as sleeping around? I really wanted to say something to these 2 but I just figured that it would just be pointless to try and get this point across to these idiots.
By saying this I am not saying I NEVER call anyone a slut, because that world comes out every 5 seconds when I see “Marry, Snog or Avoid” but I just can’t help but feeling that Gays are too quick to judge other Gay guys when it comes to how many sexual partners they’ve had or haven’t had. I mean, now it’s dancing? Seriously?
There are plenty of stereotypes out there, that Gay people are promiscuous, that we just can’t keep “it” in our pants, that we’ll spread our ass cheeks for anything that’s stiff and long… well… the list goes on and on…. but why do we support those stereotypes that were probably started by a skewed views that some straight people have of Gays? I really think that this is just stupid and counterproductive.
So when you see someone “acting” slutty my advice is: “Don’t hate, participate!”
