Well, a new year for many brings on a new start and for some, a chance to do new things. I really don’t buy into these “New Year Resolutions” I find that instead of helping they just make you feel like shit after you give up on them the 2nd week of January.
I for one, have never made any resolutions. I do what I do no matter what time of the year it is. Yes, it is nice to think that a new year gives you the chance for a fresh start but do we really need a “new” anything to give our lives a boost and do what we want to do to make our lives better? For me the answer would have to be: NO. You can start anew whenever you want, at any time of the year.
I will say that for me, a New Year gives me the chance to be thankful for a lot of things in my life. I am alive & well, have people in my life that love me and I can say that I am happy. (not all the times, but more often than not!) So, from me to all my Gays:
