O.k this group is has got to be the CAMPEST thing on the fucking planet! And of course that is JUST how I like it! One of the founding members of Army of Lovers (the bald one) formed this group after the fall of A.O.L and hasn’t looked back since. I really LOVED the tranny-esque video to “Crucify” from A.O.L. That was a true highlight for me in the 90′s.
Now they are back with their new album “Big Science” and the album is a club-romp and a half. There is nothing better than playing this before a night out on the town or just dancing in front of the mirror with nothing but your undies and brush for a microphone. (I have NEVER done that! Seriously!)
I love the fact that they know how to make great POP music and look FAB while doing it. I now leave you with the disco version of their hot hit (well, it was a hit in their native Sweden, so don’t hate!) “You’re Not Alone.” The video reminds me of a Smashing Pumpkins video,of course without the annoying presence of Billy Corgan.
