After I saw some pics of my dear Kelis looking like something a Unicorn on crack would throw up I really was not hoping for much with her new single “Acapella.” The song is produced by David Guetta and it takes the singer to a clubbier sound which I think suits her very well. Gone are the days where she was “Bossy” and now Kelis wants to establish herself as a dance-floor artist.
I think it might work. I mean she does have the attitude for it, but I am gonna miss hood-rat Kelis that would scream at the top of her lungs “I hate you so much right now!!!” Listen to “Acapella” remixed by Dave Aude, does she pull this new dance sound off? Or should she stick to the ghetto? Judge 4 Urself!
