Update! Toni’s new video for “Make My Heart.”
Yes, she has had her share of ups and downs and her popularity has dwindled from the 90′s but Toni Braxton is one singer that sound just as fresh and a-mazing now as she did when she made her debut all the way back in 92′!
This gurl has been through a lot! Recently she suffered a small heart attack and had to go through cardiac rehab and she thought she might not be able to return to the stage and to her fans that love her so much. Talk about drama, but Toni just keeps on going! She recently told Digital Spy that she would be releasing her album “Pulse ” on May 10th in the U.K and that she was in talks of touring with Leona “slapped” Lewis. Now, I’m not sure about that last one cos Toni could carry a tour on her own.
So far, 7 of the 10 songs have leaked from “Pulse” so she went back to the studio to record more tracks to keep it fresh. One of those is “Rewind” which features Mrs.Braxton at her sultry best! I LUV this track. I was quite disappointed that Trey Songz was tagged on to “Yesterday” cos he just killed a good song for me. I’m really pulling for Toni on this album and let’s just hope it puts her back on the map.
