After listening to a couple of tracks from Kelis’s soon to be released album, “Flesh Tone.” (Out June 6th.) I have come to the conclusion that, this is the album I am most looking forward to this summer.
The songs are beyond brilliant and they really make you wonder what the fuck took her so long to embrace dance music. Kelis’s voice is just sooo suited for this kind of music.
She has surrounded herself with nothing but the best in dance music, producers galore HON-E! I can honestly say that this sounds like album of the year for me. I just think that her music has taken on a fresh sound that is soo needed right now with Lady Gaga overload. Don’t get me wrong, I think Gaga is great but it’s nice to hear from another feisty female that is doing her own thing and doesn’t give a fuck about nuttin!
