I seriously don’t know what is going on in this new video for Goldfrapp’s 2nd single “Alive.” There is a mix of Vampires and 80′s workout dance video girls and a pentagram. How these things were all mixed into a video is really beyond me. You’d think that this mix would truly make for an ultra interesting video but I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the entire affair.
I think that the songs very positive tone was a bit too positive and had to be taken down a notch and they thought well, why not mix some blood suckers with a bit of satanic rituals? I ADORE the song but sadly I think they kinda missed the mark with the video. It’s not horrible but I it could have been better, as always judge 4 urself!
