So Kylie has officially taken the world charts by storm and her new album “Aphrodite” has debuted at no.1 in various parts of the world but most importantly in the U.K!! I’m so happy that she has managed to score another no.1 album and I’m sure this will be the beginning of Kylie Fever Pt2. So I have decided to dedicate a special “Remix This! BITCH: Kylie Edition.”
I LOVED “Red Blooded Woman” when it first came out in 2003 and most said it was Kylie going all R&B but it was totally dance R&B so I don’t know what people were going on about. There weren’t that many remixes of this track and the “Whitey Remix” was quite good but I wanted to feature the “Play Paul Remix” and while it’s not hugely known it is the best remix of the song out there cos it makes the song so dirrty and electroish! And I must mention the single cover, isn’t that the hottest cover ever?

“In My Arms” was by far one of my fave songs from “X” and even though it wasn’t a big a hit as it should have been, it is nonetheless a brilliant Kylie single that had TONS of remixes. It was quite difficult to pick the best remix cos there were over 10! But I think I managed to find the one that rocks the most, and that would be the “Spitzer Radio Edit.” It’s deliciously gritty and me LOVES it!

“BoomBox” was never a proper Kylie single although I have no idea why it wasn’t. This was supposed to be included in the “X” album but for some strange reason it didn’t make the cut and was instead the lead single for her 2009 remix album which went nowhere and was for hard-core fans only. It is quite a shame cos the song is all kinds of amazing. The best remix of the bunch is “Revolte Remix” and after 1 listen, you will totally see why!
