Middle of Summer and the tunes just keep getting hotter and hotter! I have found 3 remixes that are too hot to handle and yes if you can believe it XXX-tina is included in something good! I know I’m quite shocked but my mother always said: Don’t be such a bitch! So here go this weeks best remixes!
O.k, so the original “You Lost Me” is truly and utterly depressing but as we all know throw a disco beat at a crap song and more often than not you have Gay gold. No one knows this better than the folks over at XXX-tina’s camp and they have released the Hex Hector & Mac Quayle Remix to stir up some interest in her brand of funk again. Will it work? Who knows, but the remix comes very close to… not so bad!

“Figure It Out” is a brilliant track by DJ extraordinaire Dave Aude and it is a proper choon! I love this track! Storming beat, CHECK! Big vocals from a fab diva, CHECK! A lot of sassy attitude. CHECK! This will surely be a HUGE hit in da clubs. The fact that it’s so much fun and carefree makes this a strong contender for song of the Summer 2010! Listen to the Dave Aude Remix and you’ll deffo see what I am talkin about, this one is a keeper!

I could go on forever about Lolene and her airhead brand of slut-pop! This is also a strong contender for song of the Summer due to the fact that the lyrics are PURE CL-ASS! I mean this song was soooo written by a streetwalker that was down and out on her luck but she never lost hope. “I walk like I’m rich, I talk like I’m rich, I spend like I’m rich, but I ain’t got no money!” Can you just think of better lyrics? Lolene needs to dominate the world with lyrics like that! And surely she will! (or at least in my world!)
