Ever since “Human” I was hooked on Goldfrapp. They are pretty much the only group I listened to for like about 3 years! They are just sooooo A-mazing! Everything they have done I have loved with fierce abandon. From the stomping electro buzz-saw of “Strict Machine” passing through the retro love letter of “Number 1″ to the brilliant “Cologne Cerrone Houdini” their work is as varied as anything I have heard a group do.
“Rocket” was a complete and total dud on the UK charts failing to crack the top 30, which to me is just totally ridiculous, so I have decided to channel my love with the best remixes of this sensational single, they are all very different but of course they all have the same dance vibe that I love from Goldfrapp, seriously they are the only group that takes their remixes almost as seriously as their radio edits and you just gotta love that! Hopefully “Believer” will reignite some interest cos the fact that their singles have not ruled the charts is a complete and total travesty.
