Donna Summer has released a new single “To Paris With Love,” and I have to say it has turned into my JAM of the Summer. The song is just classic Donna and it just amazes me that she continues to make music that stands the test of time. Although I will say that 2008′s “Crayons” was quite a patchy affair.
It tried to be a bit too hip and I think Donna needs to stick with what she knows best and it’s the dance floor (and Gays) that love her most. “To Paris…” is just so lush and it actually takes you to the streets of Paris wondering around looking for love and of course when Summer coos “Louis Vuitton” you can tell she made this with the Gays in mind. The thing I love most here is that she flirts and has so much fun with this track and doesn’t over power it with screaming vocals. I have fallen hook, line and sinker and if you are as Gay as I am you will absolutely adore this as well.
There are also a slew of remixes which of course I will be featuring on Remix This! Bitch! I know that whenever Mz. Summer has a single out every DJ out there wants to get their hands on her goods and with track it’s no different! Listen and fall in love all over again.
