There are some uh-mazing remixes this week and all I have to say is you will be dancing or at least toe tapping by the end of this post! I’m soooo happy with the new Goldfrapp remixes but of course there is always more, so N-joy!
Listen to: Goldfrapp – “Alive (Dave Aude Radio Edit)”
This is the second single off of their brilliant (and overlooked) album “Head First.” I really don’t get why there was no love for their latest album. It happens to be some of the best music they have released. The original mix of “Alive” was very Abba-esque but this remix takes things straight the the gay discos of the world and it gives it an electro make over and it works wonderfully! A very commercial remix that will hopefully get them some success on the dance charts and beyond.
Listen To: Mini Viva – “One Touch (Tom Neville Mix)”
This is one of my fave remixes. Mini Viva are a great lil’ two-some and they have enough sass to turn any bored Gay into a pole-dancing queen of the night! There is so much attitude in this remix it should come with a face slap and a couple of head tweerks! This so far is their finest moment for me and I hope that they keep’em coming like this cos it’s just beyond hot!

Why is Robyn soooo fucking brilliant? Is there something that Swedish peeps do in order to become sooo cool? I mean, Robyn can seriously do NO wrong in my big fat Gay book. This remix of her latest single “Dancing On My Own” is just too beat-tastic for it’s own good! You can almost feel the sweat off of the hunky go-go dancer’s g-string with this jam! Needless to say, I love it and if you’re a disco dancing whore like me then you will ADORE this!
