O.k So when Dead or Alive did their album cover for “Evolution,” I really thought it was weird but in a good way. Pete burns managed to change his entire face and look exactly how he wanted to look. Many said he was a freak, while others said his look was unique. I personally loved that look but according to Pete that was a very dark time in his life due to the fact that he had gotten horrible lip injections by a careless surgeon creep.
Pete Burns is back with a new single “Never Marry An Icon” and from the looks of the cover it’s more about the face and those lips than it is about the tune. He was recently on some morning crap chat show and he looked well… really sad. He claimed that he has gone as far as he can go and what he will be getting now will just be “maintenance.” Well.. it’s gonna take a lot to keep this looking going cos lets face it his mug looks like an ice lolly that has been left out in the sun for too long.
Here is that interview asking the all important question (especially at 8am in the morning) “Is plastic fantastic?” Trust me the entire interview is quite a snooze but just looking at Pete and that other “human Barbie” is enough to keep me watching!
