Review Of Da Week: Keri Hilson, “No Boys Allowed.”

Keri Hilson has had her fair share of success with writing huge hits for some of the biggest pop stars and having some of them herself. Her second album “No Boys Allowed” might not get her the world-wide recognition she soooo longs for but it will solidify her career in the music biz as a strong, voice that you sooo do not wanna fuck with.

That’s not to say that the album is a 100% out of the box smash. Keri shows some XXX-treme sass with “The Way You Love Me” and screams that “it’s the way you fuck me that drives me crazy” and while I admire the slut in her it just sounds a bit forced and not well… like a natural whore. Then there is the album standout “Pretty Girl Rock” that is like the anthem for beautiful shallow bitches that makes looking at yourself in the mirror and screaming “I’M GORGEOUS” at the top of your lungs o.k.

Keri truly shines with mid-tempo and ballads. Songs like “All The Boys” shows vulnerability and makes for a beautiful (if somewhat sappy) song. “Breaking Point” stands out for it lyrics and bags and bags of tude. The rest of the album is not bad but just not very memorable. Everything is slick as a lubed up cock and while I usually think this is absolutely deelish, here it kinda makes the album sound very samey.

“No Boys Allowed” does show promise and hopefully next time there will be a bit more focus and less songs about how much money you have to spend on a ho before you get into her sugar walls.

My Rating: 2 and half semi-stiff cocks.
