The Best Jamz Of 2010.

Well, what a year this has been for choons! From the very best of the best to some stuff that made me want to puke every time my sensitive ears were exposed to utter shite. My Gays, fear not cos right now I will be taking a look back at the songs that made me want to grab the stripper pole and never, ever let go!

10. “Clap Your Hands” – Sia

This song should have been a no.1 smash all around the world. Unfortunately it didn’t and for me it has been one of the most under-looked tracks EVER! There is something so irresistibly catchy about this track that it just automatically puts me in a good mood. That is quite the task cos I am one moody bitch! Her album “We Are Born,” was appreciated in her homeland Australia debuting at no.2 so at least it was not all bad for this talented minx.

9. “Get Outta My Way” – Kylie

Despite the fact that this was probably one of Kylie’s most instant songs in quite a while it didn’t necessarily set any charts on fire. I will tell you that I did set the dancefloor on fire every time I heard this jam in a club. It’s one of the best songs to dance to, full of attitude and sass and of course that is something that we gays need to have whenever boogie on the floor. Shame this wasn’t a massive hit for Kylie cos it stands as one of the finest pop moments of the year!

8. “Massive Attack” – Nicki Minaj

Despite not being included in Nicki’s “Pink Friday” album this has been by far one of her best offerings. It is utterly bizarre and it sounds fresh every time you fucking listen to this. To me this is what Miss. Minaj is all about and while her debut is not as crazy and kooky as this, it does show that when she wants to get freaky with it and make it work she can do it and she does it AMAZE!

7. “Ride”- Ciara

This is probably the best Ciara track since “Goodies.” The reason for this? Well, it was slutty, smutty and KL-ASSY! Now, this is a very difficult thing to do but “C” pulled it off and the video was this years “Single Ladies” for us whores that love to shake our booty’s and ride mechanical bulls like there was no tomorrow! A huge hit on the R&B charts this song deserved to rule the world, but you better believe this one will be played for years to cum at your local strip joint!

6. “Figure It Out” – Dave Aude Feat. Isha Coco

This for me was my jam for the Summer. The vocals are effortless, strong and just infectious! Such an amazing track but I have no idea why this (again) didn’t rule the dance floors all over the world! There is something seriously wrong with the world! Several remixes were released but none was better than Dave Aude’s Club Mix that has been played too many times to count. Hopefully we will get more from these two cos it was a match made in dance floor heaven!

5. “Believer” – Goldfrapp

Every single time Goldfrapp comes out with new music you can expect something exciting and new. With “Head First” they delivered this and a whole lotta 80′s synth fairy dust. The entire album was pure gold and “Believer” was a standout track that captured the dreaminess of Alison’s angelic vocals and romp and stomp electric yumminess! By far one of their best singles that was horribly over-looked but trust that the fans ate this one up!

4. ‘Brave” – Kelis

Kelis released probably the best album of the year with “Flesh Tone” and it was really difficult to pick a song of hers this year that wasn’t fucking brilliant but “Brave” is Kelis at her best. With a dirty electro feel  and her strong ‘I’m gonna kick ass” lyrics it makes this the stand out  choon on an already standout album. When you hear this you wanna turn it all the way up and just tell the entire fucking world how stong you are and Kelis totally has your back!

3. “Dancing On My Own” – Robyn

Another one that was really difficult to pick a best sing from. 2010 was really Robyn’s year. She put out so much quality music that I could have listened to nothing but her stuff and still have been one perfectly happy gay. The thing about Robyn’s is that everything she does sounds soo slick and cool that you just can’t help but love her jamz. “Dancing On My Own” was catchy, and a classic pop tune that will deffo stand the test of time.

2. “One Hot Pleasure”- Erika Jayne

This is my guilty pleasure of 2010. Erika Jayne may only be known by the clubs and in the U.S but this track should take her to that next level, from U.S dance-floors to world-wide domination, (or she might just get a bit more respect on her patch.) Her combo of slutty looks with horny disco hooks makes “One Hot Pleasure” the raunchiest track out there at the moment and I absolutely love it!

1. “One Touch” – Mini Viva

Yes, this group may no longer exist and this may have been their biggest flop but it is by far the best moment in pop of 2010. The lyrics are brilliant, sexy, slightly slutty and over -all fun, fun and more fun! Everything that a pop track should be. The chorus is massive and the “hips, lips fashion status” line is probably one of the best ever written! With enough sass to turn George Bush into a raging cock sucking slut this is one jam that will live in my heart of hearts for ever and ever, amen.
