As I predicted last week on my Week In Singles, this song has stormed up the charts here in the U.K and has given Kelly Rowland her 2nd no.1 hit. Now, of course it’s not just Kelly’s song, DJ of the moment David Guetta also had quite a lot to do with this song being as big as it is! It’s kind of difficult to make a brilliant song better but, the Electro-Remix of this song is right up there with the original and if you don’t feel like dancing when you hear this, you might want to check yourself into an old folks home!

A-mazing!

The Bimbo Jones Remix of Little Boots “New In Town” just gets better and better with each and every listen. It really makes this song epic. For me Little Boots is probably one of the best new pop acts of this year and I know that we will all BOW down to her mix of cool-electro feistiness in 2009. Trust me this song NEEDS to be turned ALL the way up!

GUILTY PLEASURE!

When I first heard the Redtop Remix of Ashley Tisdales’s “He said, She Said,” I thought to myself there is no way in hell that this is Ashley Tisdale from HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!! I thought I had really lost it! I mean I fucking hated all that shit. Well, I don’t feel so guilty now cos I’m sure that little Miss Tisdale has NO IDEA her song  has been remixed this way. The original was pretty good but this takes the song into unknown electro-territory! I LOVE this remix and will be on the lookout for more of her remixes cos if this is anything to go by they should be HOT!

O.k, first of all yes this is the same annoying teeny-bopper that was on all those High School Musical movies that gave me many, many nightmares. Ashley Tisdale released an A-mazing debut album “Headstrong,” which I play every time I’m getting ready to go out. I LOVE that album.

She released her 2nd album “Guilty Pleasure” back in April of this year and she was focus on a more rock-ish sound and of course i was just not having any of it cos you all know that Gays and Rock is like expecting a girl and blow-jobs, they just DON’T MIX! I think she must have realised that her rock-ish sound put people off an she is back with her 2nd single “Crank It Up” and it is quite an brilliant club jam!

The single comes along with a bonus track and that really should have been a single as well, “Blame it On The Beat.” that song is an all-out cry to just go out and shake that ass till the wee hours of the morning… ahh good times.

It's NOT Alright!

If you know who Ashley Tisdale is and you DON’T have a tween sister then you you are quite sad. This is the ONLY reason my ears have been contaminated with this shit. Little Miss Tisdale is releasing her 2nd (!) album and “It’s Alright, It’s OK” is the first single.

To say this song is crap would be too easy, so I will explain exactly why the song is the No.1 cause of ear infections around the world. OK, to begin with, before this song Ashley’s sound was dance/pop and now that she is growing up she feels that she has to change gears into Brat Pop. You know who the QUEEN of Brat Pop is.. yes, that would be Avril Lavigne. We already have ONE Avril and we sure as hell don’t need another one. This song plays like a bad Avril reject with it’s “heavy”guitars and overblown chorus.

As you can also tell from the single cover she has also decided to shed her blond hair for a more “grown up” brown. It’s all the same with these Disney whores. They start off blond and stupid, turn 18 and then feel the need to start coloring their hair and start dressing like a hooker with a chip on her shoulder. Oh Disney, what a tangled web you weave!

Me Likes!

La Roux has scored a MASSIVE hit here in the U.K with “In For The Kill” and I think it is cos there was nothing like it on the radio and it helped it stand out from the pack. Well, they have a full album coming out in June and they are also releasing a 2nd single “Bulletproof”.

This song is so much better than their previous single only because Elly’s voice isn’t as hawkish. I do like “In For The Kill” but I found her voice a bit too annoying at times. This song is alot more accessable and is very radio friendly.

I’m glad that this kind of music is on the radio. I feel as though real musicians are making a comeback in a big way. There is something fresh and exciting about La Roux music and while many may not like their style of music, their creativity is something that can’t be denied.

I’m LOVING Elly’s hair on the album cover! She looks so modern and artsy. Gotta love an artsy bitch!

My Rating: 4 happy Gay indie monkeys.

Boom Boom YUCK!

The Black Eyed Peas are back with their single “Boom, Boom, POW” and after several times listening to this song one question comes to mind: How the hell did this song fly up the Billboard charts to No.1?

There is nothing original or remotely interesting about this song. I must have listened to it at least 10 times in 30 mins and I just couldn’t remember ANY of it, and that is not a good sign. The thing that I did like about B.E.P was that when they were good, their singles were fun and disposable. This song is just the latter.

The main problem with this is that there really is no song to speak of. It tries to impress with it’s hard beats and voices that are so auto-tuned, it sounds as though R2D2 recorded this shit.

My Rating: 5 piss stained Fergie panties.

LOVE IT!

Little Boots is back with her first single from her debut album “Hands” the single is “New In Town” and it is A-mazing.

If Goldfrapp had a little sister it would be Little Boots. This song is an electro-stomper  that will surely have tons of remixes that make an a-mazing song, BRILLIANT! The song has a very dreamy feel to it but at the same time she sounds strong and in control.

I’m sure that this will storm up the charts, and I for one can’t wait to get my hot little Gay hands on her album which is set to be released June 8th.
