Update: This is gonna be a special week as I take a look back at all of the remixes I have featured on the site and I know you will LUV them if yo missed them the first time!

There are plenty of ok-ish songs out there that would be great if they had some super hot D.j remix the shit out of them and then you have a song that is 1o gazillion times better than the original. Brittters has always had TONS of remixes for ALL of her singles and the more singles she releases the better the remixes get. For her 3rd single off of “Circus”, “If U Seek Amy” she released 13 different remixes for the song! I ADORE this track in it’s original form but if you want “Clubby Britney” then look no further than The Crookers remix of the song which elevates it into an all-out club EXTRAVAGANZA! It’s not your average remix cos it really follows no pattern. It’s weird, edgy and sizzlin!

Waking Up In Amazing!

While the original “Waking Up in Vegas” is a but “meh” there is nothing remotely “meh” about the the Manhattan Clique remix of the song. This is a case when the remix is a helluva lot better than the original. The remix gives the song a sassy club feel that was sooo needed and shoves the rock edge of the original out da door! (right where it should be!) I really think Katy should give disco queen a go, her more dancey songs are SO MUCH better than her boring ballads. This remix must be listened to with a Manhattan in your hand and a hot guy in front of you. (the only way to drink!)

I LOVE This Remix!

The fact that the dolls look like day-shift hookers on this cover makes me LOVE them even MORE! “I Hate This Part” was an international hit and I really don’t know why cos the original version is pretty generic. The Digital Dog Club Remix of the song takes the song and turns “Blah” into BRILLIANT! It really pisses me off when these girls go down the ballad route cos they really need to know that nobody wants to hear that the Pussycat Dolls have depth and range! NO! We just want yummy slut-pop gems we can shake our asses to ALL NIGHT LONG! Simple really

Amazing, Again!

I have gone on about this song so much I’m really starting to annoy myself, but just when I thought this choon couldn’t get any more delish, it does! The Designer Drugs Remix of the song is ALMOST as good as the original. This one is for the clubs. I think that Annie’s songs are really just made for the dance floor cos of her icy detached vocals which are great when your rubbin’ your ass on your clients boyfriends face! This for me has got to be one of the hottest remixes of this year!

Slut Pillow Fight!

This is PCD’s new video for their Ok-ish song “Hush, Hush” and I think that they did good but one question: What the hell is Perez Hilton doing in the video? It’s just soooo random. I really don’t get what he is doing in the video. And just the fact that it’s HIM makes it all the more annoying. Thank the LORD SWEET JESUS he’s only on there for 5 seconds but it doesn’t mesh well.

The video looks quite expensive and the dancing is off da chain but I still can’t get over the fact that the song is just not very good compared to “Bottle Pop” or “When I Grow Up”. I’m afraid these girls have lost all sense of direction with their slutina ways. When Nicole starts singing the “I Will Survive” part of the song, she really does look like a 70′s crack-head post-op tranny. Talk about Tranny Face! Geeesh!

It's ALL About.. ME!

OMG! I never thought I’d live to see the day when I would write that my favorite hookers The Pussycat Dolls are annoying me, but they are! Wait! I know this is almost impossible to believe BUT…………….

There are PLENTY of reasons to LOVE The Pussycat Dolls but recently there have been more reasons to question their career choices than anything else. To begin with their last album “Doll Domination” was a bigger mess than a fat person’s weight watchers diet program and now there is tension between the other “dolls” and Beyonce, OOOPS! I mean, Nicole Scherzinger.

The single choices have not been very consistent and they are releasing songs left and right in an attempt to keep their brand name out there in the limelight. “When I Grow Up” was an amazing lead off single. It delivered on so many levels and the song has now become one of their signature songs. But after that, came “What’cha Think About That” and I could barely keep my food down every time I heard that song. It flopped big time and they decided to take the “serious” route with “I Hate This Part” and it proved to be a pretty big hit around the world. Then they started getting desperate. They released “Bottle Pop” (which is  by FAR their best single since “Dont’cha”) but soon back tracked and released the big pile-o-crap that is “Jai’ Ho” which is about as enjoyable as herpes.

Now, they have released a new “slim” version of  their album entitled “The Mini Collection” with 6 songs which include the U.K singles and the new song “Painted Windows”. Their new single “Hush, Hush” is a ballad and then right in the middle of it it turns into a G-A-Y Disco Extravaganza and they even throw in a verse from “I Will Survive”. This sounds like a bigger mess than Lindsay Lohan’s pussy licking ways,  I really don’t know what to make of all this crap, but one thing I do know is that these girls have lost their ho-bag roots.

For their “Hush,Hush” video, none other than the most annoying person in history will make a cameo, (and no it ain’t Gwenyth Paltrow) Mrs. Perez Hilton. Why girls? Why? I will just try to pretend that this video is just not gonna happen, but sadly it is and this is the last straw! They are just being ANNOYING!

Let’s just hope these skanks get their act together and start making the kind of music that has inspired many a 5 dolla hooker and alcoholic strippers all around the world. This stripper/whore will be waiting patiently.

As usual we have our stinkers which this week comes to us via Tinchy Stryder with his god-awful “Number 1″ and we have some stand-outs such as Lady Gaga’s new single “Paparazzi” so, lets get it on.

C-r-a-p.

How this song is the No.1 record in the U.K is just totally beyond me. I’m thinking yet again that Tinchy Stryder had a little chat with the Satan himself in order to get himself a hit record.

His single “Number 1″ is well……. just that but not because it is any good. Actually this has got to be one of the worst songs I have heard all year. (Not counting all the X-factor crap-ola) It’s just such a non-tune that it really makes me question what the hell people are hearing when they listen to this song. It sounds so amatuer-ish, the beat the production and even Trinchy’s stance.

The U.K’s answer to the Black Eyed Peas, N-dubz are featured on the song but one has to question what could such a non-group could contribute to such a non-song, well…… NOTHING really.

If people ask at the end of 2009 what was the years most undeserving no.1 song, Trinchy’s (sounds like a bad drag name) will take that title and it so deserves it.

Welcome 2 England.

Looking like Nicola from Girls Aloud on the cover of her album “Abnormally Attracted To Sin”, Tori Amos is back with her single “Welcome To England”.

Now, Tori has been making music for decades and this song just proves why she is still in the music biz after all these years. The song has a haunting quality that all of Tori’s best work has. I like the fact that while this is a new song it does sound quite familiar. It’s classic Tori.

I wouldn’t expect to hear this song on the radio cos most of Tori’s recordings are a bit tool left field for mass public consumption but just because it’s on the radio DOES NOT mean it’s any good as Trinchy Styder’s song has already proven to us.

The video is very low-budget and I don’t know if it was intentionally done to look cheap or if they really had no more budget for Tori and her brand of funk. Anyway the vid could have been better.

Down-hill.

It’s kind of hard to keep track but if my calculations are right, “Hush,Hush” is the 5th single to be taken from PCD’s “Doll Domination” CD. Looking at the single cover, one thing clearly stands out: now it’s The Pussycat Dolls FEATURING Nicole Scherzinger. WTF? I will get into that on another post but right now let’s just stick to the song.

This song was a ballad and has been remixed by someone who lives with a cock in his mouth cos this remix is about as camp as pink boa. So camp in fact that it even has a verse og Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive”. The sad thing about all of this is that, it just makes the song worse. I don’t like PCD ballads cos they should just stick to slut-pop but this version half ballad half dance is just one BIG MESS! I think that with this release we can officially say that the Dolls have lost their path on the road to finding their inner-skank. I predict that we will hear break-up news soon and judging by the quality of music they have released maybe that’s not such a bad idea.

Single Of The Week:

"Paparazzi"

Lady Gaga is really making it difficult for me to like her. I LOVE her music and think that it truly is something fresh and exciting. Her new single “Paparazzi” is one of the best songs off of her album “The Fame” and I’m excited that it is getting a release date AND video here in the U.K.

HOWEVER, Lady Gaga and her “art installation” antics have really left me wondering: what the fuck is she on and where can I get some? Her performances over in the U.K have been quite “special” (especially when she was on Jonathan Ross) and when she is being interviewed she now “plays” a role. I’m still asking myself, what the fuck the entire “teacup thing” was. She is becoming (or maybe she always was) soo fucking full of herself that she is bordering on annoying. I mean to say that NO ONE inspires her? I think, I would have to say that is….. hmmmm…let me see…….. BULLSHIT!

I hope she doesn’t let this entire “fame around the world” get to her skanky little head cos bitch should always remember one thing: Honey, you dry humped Shamu the whale on your first video and there ain’t nothing artsy about that!

Where's Mimi?

The Dream is the man behind such annoying smash songs such as “Umbrella” and “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” so it comes as quite a shock that he left such a crappy, forgettable song for himself. “My Love” is the 2nd single from his new album and the song features none other than everybody’s favorite crazy, “there are people called haters”, hello kitty lovin, Mimi Carey.

In reality Mimi brings nothing to the table except a very strained vocal performance that is not her best. This is just run-of-the-mill R&b that really is not even worth listening to. You’ve heard TONS of songs like this before and they have been done better. I think Mimi decided that since her last album pretty much flopped what a better way to get her back on the charts with a guy that has produced smash after smash. It will probably be a hit, but that don’t mean it’s any good. The video promises to have Mimi looking her most ridic, if this picture is anything to go by. There is also a sneak peak of this mess and can I just say… when the fuck is Mimi gonna grow the fuck up? I mean sucking on a lollipop on a porch? Get it together woman! You’re 39 not 13!

My Rating: 5 hours of Mimi giving you wardrobe advice.

Why?

Damn the Pussycat Dolls for releasing this piece of shit. “Jai Ho” is the song from the movie Slumdog Millionaire. I just don’t get it. It’s just such a boring song. It’s Bollywood at it’s worst. Why this song has stormed up the charts is anyone’s guess but as far as I’m concerned this song is about the worst PCD single ever. The movie was popular and I guess they just want to ride the wave of success the movie is having and release a song that would be a hit not because it’s any good but because it’s from a movie that a lot of people are talking about.

One more thing, why does it say The Pussycat Dolls Featuring Nicole (whatever the fuck her last name is)? I mean doesn’t she sing ALL of the PCD songs? If this is anything to go by, then shouldn’t ALL of their songs be labeled like this?  I’m confused.

Anyway, I’m sure this song will be annoying the crap out of you soon. (If it already hasn’t.)

Single Of The Week:

Depeche Mode - "Wrong"

Finally! I really LOVE the fact that Depeche Mode is back and stronger than ever! Their new single “Wrong” is just as instant as any other Depeche classic. This is the first single from their up and coming album “Sounds Of The Universe”.

The song is dark and edgy. I also love the fact that no matter what they do they always manage to sound true to their electronic sound. There are sure to be many a-mazing remixes for this song that I know I will love no matter what.

What REALLY seals the deal though is the video. It is just too good for words! It’s utterly creepy and the ending is just something that must be seen to believe. Trust me, this you gotta watch!
